There are more beaches that are a little further away such as the wonderful setting of Santiago De La Ribera (Palm lined sandy beaches) which is around 25 minutes from the apartment.
If you like places of interest then the Historic Cartegena with its Roman ruins is around 40 minutes drive whilst places such as Elche, Valencia, and Murcia are within easy access. Popular Torrevieja with abundance of shops, harbour and beaches is only around 10/15 minutes away. There are local supermarkets, cafe's and restaurants plus parkland within walking distance.
